Good Dog Pet Training

Anne, Kirsten, and the staff at Good Dog Pet Training are incredible at what they do. My rescued pup and I started with individual training, then group classes, daycare + enrichment, and boarding. They are excellent teachers, empowering dog owners with the tools they need to foster confidence in our dogs and strengthen our bond. I am so grateful for Good Dog and can't imagine where I'd be without them.

I am usually not one to take the time to write a review, but this one is worth writing, in the best way possible. The entire team at Good Dog has been nothing but professional and amazing throughout the time I’ve had the pleasure of engaging with them. I have been a client of Good Dog since October 2020, and have been coming back for their various services ever since. I started out with private lessons with Anne who is an absolute rock star. The confidence she exudes in every behavioral situation brought to her is unmatched. Not only did she help teach my dog, but she was instrumental (and kind and clear and patient :) ) in teaching ME how to train my dog. I have also used their daycare / day train program consistently and I can honestly say this is what keeps my dog’s skills sharp and offers the consistency needed with training that I do not always have the time to offer myself (plus Kenzie, the daycare manager, is always so friendly and responsive when it comes to booking!). I have recently been going through the Therapy Dog training with Kirsten who is another amazing trainer with a true passion for this type of work. My dog is literally a better dog all around because of the types of skills we work on in this class. I have also taken advantage of the boarding options offered when I go away, and the peace of mind offered by the fact that I truly trust these individuals with my dog, is to me, priceless. I cannot say enough good things about the team at Good Dog and all of the services they offer. “Do it for your dog” and book time with them - you won’t regret it, and your dog will be the most happy and exhausted they’ve ever been! :)

I can’t say enough about how happy I am with my experiences at Good Dog Pet Training. All of the trainers & staff are absolutely wonderful. They are so patient with owners and are always willing and available to answer my million and one questions. They provide great training methods based on positive reinforcement; It's been amazing to see how much my dog Nash has improved in a short period of time; Good Dog’s methods have really improved home life for us. Whether you are experienced or just starting out there is a class for you at Good Dog. I was especially impressed with their approach to the COVID shutdown; offering online training and minimal contact drop off / pick-up. When they reopened for in person classes their professional approach has really shown through. As always the facility is spotless, everyone is wearing masks, providing hand sanitizer and maintaining social distancing at all times. It is clear they really care about the health and safety of their clients. A huge thank you to Anne and the whole staff for the superb help. In summary....if you have a dog...... check it out. It'll be worth your time.
