I started with Grassroots K9 just wanting some basic obedience for my Mal, and I ended up getting so much more than that. OB quickly turned into bitework, and before I knew it I was spending most of my free time with them. The trainers aren’t just knowledgeable — they genuinely care about the dogs and the people behind the leash. Over time, they became some of my best friends. I did an apprenticeship, worked with them for a while, and even went on to get a PSA1 with my Mal — something I never thought I’d accomplish when I first showed up for pet dog training. Grassroots K9 has been such a huge part of my journey as a handler. They’ve given me the tools, the support, and the confidence to push myself and my dog further than I thought possible. Can’t recommend them enough.
