Great Dog Training

Our female Australian Cattle Dogs (blue heelers) fought deeply and we were desperate for professional help. Even though we rescued dogs all our lives these two were overwhelming in their reactions to each other and ended up injured more than once. Our vet recommended Nick and we are so grateful for his wisdom, his patient training techniques for us. Yes, that’s right much of his training was teaching us new ways of providing active relearning for the dogs to help them understand and encourage positive behaviors and discourage reactionary behaviors. This was 5 years ago and today they are both 16 years old. We have kept up with a lot of Nick’s recommendations and these two have lived in better harmony ever since. A few slight reactions along the way but we knew how to handle them and we’ve had no vet visits for fight injuries! We highly recommend Nick for all your training needs and when we have young rescues again someday we already have him on speed dial to help us acclimate new babies! We did need to do boarding with Nick but would trust his care for any dog. He loves animals and it shows!

Nick has done wonderful training and behavioral work with our Giant Schnauzer, Meiko! We were in need of serious knowledgeable help with this incredible GS that we adopted, and Nick was highly recommended. We were dealing with some dominant traits in a very bright dog, that needed behavioral corrections guidance and training. Nick’s knowledge and experience with working and guarding dogs was exactly what Meiko needed. He read and corrected his behavioral issues and trained us on how to instill a new set of directions that transformed his behavior and our relationship. Nick continues to refresh and work with Meiko periodically, which reenforces the training technics he’s instilled. Nick’s knowledge and training saved our relationship with a wonderful dog and we can’t thank him enough.
