This was the greatest experience I and Raphael could have had every single trainer was great, I had truly lost hope in finding a place half as great as GLDTC I prayed for them and God answered. They kept me updated daily, they work with you to accomplish all goal and are always available for future help if needed. The energy there is so positive you can feel it immediately upon arrival. I feel truly blessed to have found them.

Great Lakes Dog Training and their staff was amazing! After doing lots of research and talking with different facilities/companies I decided to go with GLDT because of how diligent they were in responding to my many many questions, price point, and overall knowledge. I have a 3 year old golden doodle who primarily worked with Zoe on recall, general obedience, and socialization in their 2 week board and train. Zoe was amazing. I could see through the daily report cards that my dog genuinely loved her and that she loved him. It made the 2 weeks away feel way more bearable. I would absolutely recommend anyone who’s thinking of sending their pup to do it. It requires you to continue working with your dog when they return home, and even that is fun and so good for the relationship! Even weeks later GLDT has responded to my questions and offers refresher sessions if needed. 10/10!!

I must admit, this first time GLDT customer was an uber anxious mama, giving her 11 week old puppy to a literal group of strangers to care for and train. Having had a bad experience with a pup we didn’t train properly, I was driven to seek professional training, however So Scared of creating the wrong partnership in this goal. Trusting my instinct with the first person at GLDT I spoke with (Katy) and subsequently ALL of the reviews I read ( many, many) I signed my pup up for the 2 week perfect puppy program. This requires the pup be boarded while the team works literal magic on their forming brains, while also, Kindly, Gently yet Firmly helping mama make it through the separation. The training he’s learned thus far, is nothing short of Amazing! We could not be happier & are now looking Forward to both Archie’s next phase of training & maybe as important, a lifelong partnership with Liz, Jacob & their chosen team. So Grateful we found you!!
