I had a great experience at GLDT! My 5 year old Pomeranian was reactive, stubborn, and had an issue with excited/submissive peeing when I brought her to GLDT. Through the 2 week program, the instructors were able to totally reshape her behavior and temperament. The report cards were helpful to know what she was doing day to day. I enjoyed seeing the video progress also. The take home lesson was very valuable so that I can maintain the training and good behavior my dog now has. I would highly recommend GLDT to anybody with a dog of any age!

I will delete this once everything is made right and I get my refund. Booked back on July 13th for my dog to be dropped off August 1st at the Ferndale location. Informed them that I was closer to their Birch Run location but I didn’t want to wait until after September that the sooner the better for my pup. I had that day to pay my deposit. A week before drop off I received a text that there was an emergency, and that they had to switch me to the West Bloomfield location. That was perfectly fine. Fast forward to the day of drop off. This is a hour and a half drive for me. Drop off was at 10AM. I am literally 3 minutes from their location on their road. I receive a phone call stating that they had an emergency the previous night and decided to give their staff the weekend off. With frustration and shock that I am getting a call at 9:50AM I just laugh at the poor girl. Why did they wait this late to give me a call? We agreed that a refund would just be best for me as the universe was just telling me something at that point. Fast forward to today 21 days since my dog was supposed to be dropped off and I still have yet to receive my refund. Now I am a fairly understanding person as stuff happens. I also own a business myself. But the fact that I have yet to receive my refund is beyond me. This isn’t just a small transaction it’s a few thousand dollars that is still being withheld. A refund typically takes 5-7 business days, not 15+. I was patient and waited to dispute it with my bank but I unfortunately had to start that process. As I stated once things are made right and I receive my refund, I will gladly delete this. As I personally cannot speak for their training. I just can speak about what I have gone through myself, and sadly where I am standing. This is a company I would not recommend.
