Do you train dogs to give a person with diabetes advance warning of a low glucose level?Can you train a dog to be a diabetic service dog? I've had type one diabetes 51 years and frequently experience low glucose level unawareness.
It's not me there down the street but they are awsome

I opted for classes with my very first dog to not only teach her but me also. The instructor was so helpful and recognized immediately that I had back problems and put a pinch collar on my dog. Instantly...my dog was behaving for me and I wasn't being pulled. We were able to finish the classes and she graduated. Best experience ever. I would recommend everyone try this class or classes to better your understanding of dogs and how they relate to eachother and you.
