Green Dog Training

I’ve just adopted a wonderful dog from Kelly at Green Dog Training. (She works closely with The Woodlands Dog Rescue . ) I’m so pleased with my rescue dog Archie. He’s so well mannered. Walks so well on the lead . Sits automatically when I stop walking. He knows to sit and stay . Comes when I call his name. Why get a puppy when you can adopt a perfectly well trained youngster from Green Dog Training. His transition into our family has been made so much easier because he’s been so well trained at Green Dog. Thank you Kelly , he’s definitely found his forever home thanks to all your training.

We had a 6 month old Bernedoodle who started to become stubborn and develop bad habits. He was not coming when called, digging, would not stay, was impossible to walk on a leash, and was generally unruly. After speaking with several trainers in the area, we felt most comfortable sending Bernie off to “school” with Kelly at Green Dog for the 4 week board and train program. Kelly checked in with us at the half way mark and let us know Bernie was doing great. When we went to pick up Bernie, Kelly spent time explaining what Bernie had learned and how to reenforce the training once we got him home. Bernie is now a well mannered, obedient dog who is a joy to be around. He heels when walking on a leash and sits when we stop. He knows sit, sit-stay, down, down-stay, go to your place, and will now come when called. Kelly was a pleasure to work with and genuinely cares for both the dog and the owners.

Can’t thank Kelly and the staff enough for the job she did with my stubborn 7 month old goldendoodle, Winston!! I took him for the 3 week obedience training program and he came back so great!! She did a phenomenal job working with him on commands and some behavioral issues that I didn’t know how to handle. I looked into and spoke with a lot of board and train programs around the Houston area and wanted to make sure I was taking him to the best one and I’m very confident when I say this is the best! Kelly is very patient, calm, and made me feel very comfortable leaving my baby with her for 3 whole weeks. I know Winston was taken care of very well there and also learned a ton. My relationship with Winston is so much better now! I highly recommend Green Dog Training!!
