We had an outstanding experience working with Henry. Our 13-month-old red golden was an extremely excited leash walker—pulling constantly and making walks pretty unbearable. After training with Henry, the transformation has been incredible. Our dog now walks with great leash manners, making daily walks enjoyable again. Beyond leash work, Henry helped us build a strong foundation in obedience, including sit, down, place, and stay. Everything was taught in a clear, structured way that made it easy for us to stay consistent at home. One of the things we appreciated most was Henry’s support during a big life transition for us—welcoming our first child. He worked closely with my wife and me to prepare our dog for the baby, including introducing the stroller and setting expectations for calm behavior during family walks and outdoor time. When we brought our newborn home, Henry was incredibly gracious and available to help us through that adjustment period, which made the whole experience far less stressful. We’re now continuing to work with Henry as we incorporate E-collar training, with the goal of eventually going fully off-leash. We’re excited to keep building on what we’ve started and can’t recommend Henry enough for anyone looking for a knowledgeable, supportive, and effective trainer.

Henry has been amazing to work with. He really took the time to understand each of our dogs’ personalities, especially Benji’s, and helped identify their specific triggers instead of just giving generic advice. That made such a difference because the guidance actually made sense for our dogs and our home. He didn’t just help with one dog either—he helped with all four of them, and the change in our household has been huge. Things feel calmer, less stressful, and we finally have tools that actually work. What I appreciated most is that he always took the time to explain why things work, not just what to do, so it’s been much easier to follow through and keep improving at home. Henry is incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely cares about both the dogs and the owners. You can tell he wants everyone to succeed. I’ve already seen so many positive changes and feel much more confident handling situations that used to feel overwhelming. I’d absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer who truly understands dogs and takes the time to help you understand them too. 🐾
