Guiding Canines

Val expertly trained my dog into a fully functional service dog. On numerous occasions I have been approached and asked if I trained her or if she was professionally trained. I always let them know that my girl “went to school” to learn some tasks. We have a line of communication and can get questions answered afterwards. We even have Val and Caleb board our dogs when we take trips out of the country and cannot take them. Run, do not walk, to book your appointment to get your dog(s) trained at Guiding Canine’s. We've worked with Val and Caleb to help train our Labradoodle Maggie. We've had a few other trainers over the years, but Val and Caleb are the best. They are professional, knowledgeable, and their love for dogs shows. Our dog is easier to take for walks, and more attentive to commands. We've done board and train as well, and Maggie always comes back happy, and returns the next time excited to be with her friends at Guiding Canines.

We are so lucky to have found Val and Guiding Canines! We started with one-on-one training with our newly adopted, and reactive, dog. Val was so patient and thoughtful as we learned this dog together since we didn’t know her history. Val also helped us with our confidence and learning new tools so that we can communicate better with our dog! Poppy also loves boarding at Val’s when we go out of town. She’s able to work on her social skills and is always matched well with other dogs to play. We get plenty of updates and I fully trust taking her there. She always comes home tired and never smelling like a kennel, which if you know, you know! Highly recommend!!
