About Guter Hund K9 Training
We are a family owned business serving New Braunfels and the surrounding areas. We offer quality K9 training at an affordable price. Lessons are conducted in-home and/or at pet-friendly locations around town, depending on your goals and where your dog is at in the training process. We work with all breeds and training can begin as early as 12 weeks old. Training techniques include both operant and classical conditioning techniques, putting the emphasis on teaching and rewarding, not punishment. Guter Hund k9 training has been such an awesome experience. Through Mr. Wagner's patience and training technique Bridgette has made incredible progress! Mr. Wagner's help is priceless, yet his private lessons and group sessions are so affordable!!! What seemed to be a hopeless situation has become a fun adventure.
Highly recommend his services. Our Indie is coming along really well. She’s still a young pup but we have the knowledge to keep working with her to keep her on the right training track. :)

We are so glad that we chose to work with David for our dog’s training needs. Our dog was a unique case, and David was so patient with both him and us as we learned how to best work with him. David is incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell that he truly loves the dogs he works with. We did private lessons and are continuing on with the group lessons he offers on Saturdays, and both have just been immensely helpful. I would highly recommend David to anyone who is willing to put in the work to have an enjoyable pup in their family!
David was fantastic to work with. He was attentive to my needs for Josie's therapy dog training and provided the necessary finishing touches. Despite Josie's extensive training, David's expert tips were invaluable. I highly recommend David; he is both patient and knowledgeable about dog training. Thanks to his help, Josie is now prepared for her good canine citizen test.
