About Guter Hund K9 Training

We are a family owned business serving New Braunfels and the surrounding areas. We offer quality K9 training at an affordable price. Lessons are conducted in-home and/or at pet-friendly locations around town, depending on your goals and where your dog is at in the training process. We work with all breeds and training can begin as early as 12 weeks old. Training techniques include both operant and classical conditioning techniques, putting the emphasis on teaching and rewarding, not punishment. Just graduated today from training with David! Our Cane Corso, Harley, absolutely loves David and has learned to be an amazing, well mannered, and pretty chill puppy! He not only gave us the tools we needed, but taught us how to use them very well and Harley is the result of excellent training! I interviewed 5 or 6 K9 trainers and only 1, Guter Hund K9 Training, was willing to work with us while our pup was under 6 months. David, you are the best and we couldn't have done this without you!

David did a fantastic job with our American bulldog but more importantly us as owners. Our walk to the training versus after were night and day. We look forward to the group classes. 100% recommend David and Gunter Hund K9 training!

Gutter Hund was definitely the dog trainer for us!!! I saw that it was just as important, if not more, that this human needed training as well! David was very professional and kind and stern. I learned a lot from him that will help me enjoy my dog so much more! I would definitely recommend Gutter Hund to anyone who needs dog training!
