I cannot un-recommend this company enough. I purchased a Halo Collar for a total of $588.88, plus the additional $14.99 monthly subscription. At checkout, delivery was advertised as 2–4 business days. According to FedEx, business days even include weekends. Then the delivery date changed to May 8th — already 7 days after the original shipping date. On May 3rd, the package arrived in the next town over from me. Since then? It has sat there. Completely unmoved. Today is May 11th, and this package has now been sitting in Aurora, Colorado for 8 straight days. On May 9th, I attempted to contact Halo support, which honestly deserves its own review. Their phone system disconnected automatically, the chat feature repeatedly redirected me to invalid links, and the “Dog Park” support in the app was also broken. After HOURS of trying, I finally reached a live person using a completely different number I found through ChatGPT. That agent told me Halo would not do anything unless FedEx stopped updating the tracking for 3 full days. Never mind the fact that the package clearly hasn’t physically moved in over a week — because FedEx keeps posting meaningless “updates,” Halo considers that acceptable. I was told to “call back Monday.” So today, Monday, I tried again. Same issues. Broken support systems, disconnected calls, endless limbo. Then I spent over an hour on hold with FedEx, only to be told THEY can’t do anything either because Halo, as the shipper, has to file the claim. When I explained Halo refuses to file one until tracking stops updating for 3 days, FedEx basically shrugged and said there’s nothing they can do. And THEN I find out Halo shipped a nearly $600 collar using FedEx Economy Ground — with NO insurance and essentially no meaningful FedEx support attached to it. I’m sorry… what? You are charging SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS for a DOG COLLAR and chose the absolute cheapest shipping option possible to save what… maybe $20? That decision alone tells me everything I need to know about this company.
