I can’t say enough good things about Hanlon’s. We took our first female corgi here 4 years ago and did several weeks of basic puppy training. I was skeptical of the prong collar in the beginning, but having a smart & sassy dog, I quickly learned that this was a safe tool when used correctly, which helped us properly communicate with our dog and correct unwanted behavior. She is very well trained, friendly and social. We got a second rescue female corgi in March of 2023, who began resource guarding my husband and I in July. The dogs began fighting daily and we feared they would never be able to be near each other again. We took our dogs back to Hanlon’s for private training where we worked with Jesse and Rob on ways to safely have them around each other, build their relationship back and end the guarding behavior. Our dogs are currently back together in our house and have stopped resource guarding and fighting. We know we must keep working at their relationship but right now, you would never know they had issues together. We are so very thankful for everything we have learned from Hanlon’s over the years. I highly highly recommend these guys, they know their dogs, are friendly and make dog training fun and easier to understand! And my dogs love going here too :)

Don't even look any further for honest, great dog training. I have a high energy, high drive 4 month old puppy. Sent him here for puppy bootcamp. Got my one on one lesson the day I picked him up, brought him home and wound up doing everything wrong. We fell back on our old ways and so did Jaxson. Called Rob and he had us come in. Jessie spent one on one time with me while Rob guided Mike. Jaxson fell right into line with Jessie. She corrected us based on what she saw as we walked in with Jaxson. I love this! Tell me what I'm doing wrong right off the bat. Show me how to correct it. Tell me from the puppy's perspective and I get it! Thank you, Jessie! Just like our kids just because they grow up in the same house doesn't mean they will listen the same way. We will go back faithfully for our group lessons and then some. Thank you Rob & Jessie.
