FirstBarkCarola did a great job training our black lab Nellie. She taught us how to help correct her with leash walking and reduce excitement around other dogs. She came to our neighborhood and had a lot of flexibility to meet us at places in the community to practice. She even has group lessons for the dogs to practice. Could not recommend her enough!

We cannot recommend Carola enough!! We rescued a 4-year old Shiba Inu in April. This was not our first Shiba and she came with their stubborn personality and due to her previous home, some food aggression. We contacted Carola for training, focused on the food aggression, and had 7 sessions. Kona’s behavior has improved and she has learned so much. We know if we ever need refresher training that we will call Carola!

I met Carola two years ago after reaching out to several local dog trainers. From the day I brought my Neapolitan Mastiff puppy, Freddy, home at 8 weeks old, he showed signs of food aggression. His hackles would go up, and he would growl and nip. Carola quickly turned things around by training both of us! Carola explains not only what to do, but why it works. She helps set both you and your dog up for success. With her extensive experience, she tailors her approach to each dog’s personality and breed traits. She trained us through each skill for Freddy to earn both his AKC Canine Good Citizen and Community Canine titles. I couldn’t be more grateful for everything she’s taught us!
I was referred to Carola for my two labs. They were having issues getting along, following commands, and one of them was struggling with confidence. The tools she provided were priceless and now my pups love playing together and are great listeners. Most importantly the two dogs ADORED Carola. She will be surely missed!
