Highly recommend! Ralf was very responsive from my initial interaction with him. He listened to everything I had to say, was very attentive and understanding. My dog has a very high drive. He has had issues with possession, resource guarding, and a few others. Ralf is extremely knowledgeable, and takes his time with the dog, and the owner! He always answers all of my questions, explains them fully to make sure I understand. He treated my dog like family, and I absolutely trust him. I really can’t thank him enough.

I reached out to Ralf about a year ago to help my 9 month old puppy with an onset of fear towards other animals. Ralf was extremely knowledgeable of what steps we needed to take to build her confidence. A few weeks into our training the coronavirus lockdown went into effect in Southern California. Ralf went above and beyond providing virtual sessions in the interim. When it was safe to meet in person again he made us feel very comfortable that he was following safety protocols. Ralf truly understands how to build trust between you and your dog. He will not only give you the techniques to continue working with your dog but he will explain the fundamentals concepts behind the techniques. Ralf clearly knows what he is talking about and is constantly furthering his expertise - even receiving his Training without Conflict Certification last year. Ralf is much more than a quality dog trainer, I think Professor of dog training would be a more appropriate title. Over the course of our time together, I now have a much deeper understanding of what makes my dog tick, the psychology of how my dog learns. I had a great experience with my dog Cassie! When we started she was very reactive to dogs when on leash and scared around strangers. Ralf was excellent from the first phone call. He thoroughly explained what was causing the reactivity and made sure I understood the entire training process. We just completed the Confidence Building program and the difference in her behavior is incredible. She has made great improvements and I feel confident that Ralf gave me the tools to continue with her training.
