Drawing on his past life as a jiu-jitsu coach and pastor, he combines a unique blend of care and coaching for pets that I have never seen before. He truly loves and is passionate about what he does. Happy Dog Training Academy has made a world of difference with our furbaby! I couldnt even walk him or take him out in public. He dragged me everywhere and my arms and legs were black and blue, not from aggression, he was just rough. I was struggling. Mr. Bob was quick to answer and questions and he kept us informed through the whole process! Our Cooper learned so much in 21 days! With some unforseen difficulties at drop off, Mr. Bob even came back and worked with us at home after drop off! Our experience has been wonderful and I only wish Id been able to do it sooner!! If you are considering sending your pup here, stop considering and just GO FOR IT!! Before this academy, Cooper was just more tiresome than enjoyable and now that I spend less time having to fight with him to walk or listen or not dart away, I spend most of my time enjoying my sweet pup!!

I called Bob when I was deep in the puppy trenches with a 3 month old herding dog. I talked with numerous trainers in the Charleston area and ultimately chose Bob because of his thoughtful way of explaining each training exercise and his approach of being here for me at all times - just a text, email or call away! Hank just returned from his 3 week board and train program and while I missed him dearly, I looked forward to the photo and video updates from Bob every other day. I sent my 11 month old puppy to Bob about a month ago and am so grateful that I did! He helped me and my puppy learn how to effectively manage and control her behavior without relying on overly strict methods. What I appreciated most was that his training approach allowed her personality to shine through while still teaching her important boundaries and skills.
