We intentionally keep our boarding facility small so we can spend a generous amount of time one on one with each dog to meet their mental, emotional and physical needs! Our 12+ year old dog, Mabel was just getting over pneumonia when we boarded her at Happy K9. We had been there many times and had confidence that she would be well cared for! Both of our dogs got excellent care for the 11 days we were gone. I was even texted to at 10:00 at night reporting that she had coughed a few times and that they were watching out for her! Such caring and attentive staff! We won’t go anywhere else for boarding.

We had an amazing experience with Happy K9 Academy. Due to a family emergency I had no notice that we would need to board Daisy for a week. I called and Ashlyn worked with me to set up a week long stay with no hesitation. The text updates were perfect. And when we picked Daisy up she tried to run back inside! So very grateful for Happy K9 and its wonderful staff.

Excellent boarding facility. My three dogs had a blast during their stay at Happy K9 while we were on vacation. Highly recommend. Ashlyn has a passion for dogs and goes out of her way to be sure they are safe and comfortable while their owners are away.

Ashlyn at Happy K9 is such a pleasant person to deal with. I came to South Carolina on vacation and needed boarding for my hound dog for one day and feel very fortunate that I found this place. I will be a return customer for sure!

I have a very nervous dog who has had a very hard time boarding at other facilities, but happy k9 academy makes him feel as at home as possible! The workers are so loving and make sure to text me with any updates I might need to know. I drive 45 minutes to this facility because I would not want my dog boarded anywhere else!
