Happy K9 Academy’s boarding facility is staffed 24/7 365 days a year to ensure we give the best experience possible to each pup in our care! We intentionally keep our boarding facility small so we can spend a generous amount of time one on one with each dog to meet their mental, emotional and physical needs! We provide reward based training through group classes, stay and train programs and private training lessons!

Three years ago I adopted a dog who turned out to have behavior and trust issues. I called Happy K9 Academy in tears because I was at a loss of what to do and needed help. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Melissa, she gave me hope when I had none, encouraged me when I needed it, and got just as excited as me, if not more for any Team Colby wins. I now understand my dogs’ triggers, signs of stress and found ways to cope with them while building trust. Melissa gives you the tools, advice and encouragement needed. It’s not always easy or fun but when you put in the work you will see the results. My neighbors even comment how much of a different dog he is now. I am forever thankful for Melissa and her passion and commitment to her clients.
