FirstBarkChris is an amazing person, is an amazing trainer, and he truly loves the dogs. He treated Bentley Benjamin as if it was his own dog. He showed so much love compassion in general care for my dog. I knew that I was in good hands having Chris as our trainer. Chris became a fast friend, but has now become family because he is so terrific.

We have a very German that as an absolute handful. She needs to be worked in the Regular. She spent time at Happy Tails as well as we have continued the boarding and training sessions. Chris has done a phenomenal job and we are more than happy with the results. He has trained us very well also!

I was in desperate need of help with two stray pitbulls that I took in, both past their puppy years. Chris was the best! He made me feel so comfortable and assured they were left in good hands. I was able to coordinate the residency with a trip I was taking and I received frequent updates while I was away. The follow-up workshops helped me feel confident in my skills to continue the training. To this day, Chris is super responsive with any questions I have. I get so many compliments with how well behaved Wallace and Rosa are! They both have excellent recall and walk great on a leash. No more worrying about critters in the neighborhood running by on walks. Since training, Rosa is far less anxious and I’ve been able to lower her anxiety dosage now that she’s more confident!

I cannot say enough about how great Happy Tails has been for our family!! We originally did a 3-week residency program where our dogs were both boarded and trained. It helped them both with basic manners and getting over anxieties and responding to commands, when they came home they most well-behaved dogs I've ever had! Their trainer, Chris did amazing with them. We also used their boarding services while I was in the hospital delivering our baby, and they were so amazingly accommodating! Since I didn't know when I was going to go into labor, the owner Kate set up a text group chat with myself and my husband, her, and multiple members of the staff so they could be ready and available whenever we needed to drop the dogs off, even if it was off regular hours!! We had dropped off their food and things ahead of time which made the check in process so easy while we were on our way to the hospital. During their stay they got the same love and attention that they would have received at home, plus some extra training sessions as well as some Fit Dog sessions! I regularly got text message updates from the staff (including pictures and videos) on how they were doing. I'm so thankful that we found them to help with our training needs as well as take great care of our fur babies!!! I can't recommend them enough ❤️❤️
