My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful positive things about our experience with Dale and his entire team at Happy Gentle Dogs. We rescued a very reactive German Shepherd and we were not sure how we could keep him because of his fearful and unpredictable behavior. A friend referred Dale with Happy Gentle Dogs and from our first conversation I knew that our dog Pharoah would be in good hands. We were not disappointed! The entire experience was truly amazing. Pharoah’s trainer Madi is incredibly gifted and professional. Dale is a dog whisperer in my opinion and just amazing. He has an incredible ability to communicate to the dogs owners what the dog needs to thrive and how to facilitate a happy loving environment at home. Our dog Pharoah is content and confident and we enjoy watching him thrive. We are very grateful for everyone at Happy Gentle Dogs. Dale’s wife Tracy is amazing at scheduling as well. My husband and I feel as if we have a very Happy Gentle Dog and some new friends as well. Thank you so much Dale, Madi, Tracy, and your entire team for such a beautiful experience. My dogs were starting to get aggressive with each other. I brought them in and Madi was great. She walked us through everything and helped us understand that the root cause was fear and insecurity. She helped our dogs become more confident and overall happier. Our dogs were taken care of and at the end we saw incredible growth. She walked us through all of the training, and empowered us to know and understand our dogs behavior. They continue to support us as we work with them at home. We were very impressed with the facility and the owners Dale and Tracy are the best. Highly recommend!

I adopted a magnificent, working line German Shepherd from a rescue who had been placed in Dale's care for some dog aggressiveness issues. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for the transformation Dale and his staff were able to accomplish with my Beauty. This dog who would have jumped a 6 foot fence to kill another dog now has two canine siblings. The techniques Dale and his staff employ work. Our most recent rescue is just a puppy and joined our family a little over a month ago. Ella is already showing great promise using the skills I learned at Happy Gentle Dog. I received a recommendation for Happy Gentle Dogs from a trusted partner with our rescue. We are focused on what's best for each of the dogs in our care, and we choose to work with people and organizations who do the same. Dale and the team at The Happy Gentle Dog Place truly care about every dog they work with, and it shows. They want each dog to be successful. They want each dog to be happy. They want each dog to be able to leave training and live their very best life. The first rescue dog we brought to Dale was very fearful, causing him to be reactive and aggressive toward people. He was very young and had been with a foster family who wasn't the best fit for addressing his challenging behavior. It became apparent he wouldn't be able to be adopted without help, and we turned to Dale. He walked us through their scientific approach and explained what the goal would be for our pup and outlined next steps. We immediately felt comfortable that our rescue dog was going to be cared for, and we learned so much in that first meeting. Fast forward to our first visit after training started, and we were in awe. The worry was gone from the dog's face, and he was relaxed and clearly a happy boy (look at the difference in his pictures!). He was wary but cognitive, showing curiosity instead of fear. Our sweet boy is going to get his very own happily ever after because of Dale and Happy Gentle Dogs. Highly recommend!
