My decision to work with Happy Gentle Dog over 3 years ago is one I look back on as a "top five best" decision. My dog graduated the program, as I was told he would, knowing how to be cognizant i.e. aware of his own behavior. In other words, I didn't have to spend time asking for sits, stays, place, etc. because he knew how to behave well and chose on his own to offer those "good" behaviors routinely. I also enjoyed the "human" training and knowledge I gained training along with my dog as part of the program. There is more to "speaking dog" than I ever imagined. As a result of this program, I enjoy a relationship with my dog that is very rewarding and fulfilling and our time together is truly quality time. His genuine happiness and confidence, now and over the years, is a true joy to see on a daily basis. I also appreciate how we are always "part of the family" at Happy Gentle Dog and I feel I always have a place to go to ask a quick question or to share another proud moment.
Dale and his team are amazing. The way they work with the dogs and the owners to help them communicate with each other is the best. They don’t just train your dog but they train the dog how to learn and the owner how to teach so anything is possible! They are the best!
We have know Dale many years and he trained our Vizsla when she was very young. She is 14 years old now and still a very Happy Gentle dog. Dale and his staff do great work for dogs that have problems. I would recommend him over anyone else for dog training.
