Harmony K9 Training

When I reached out to Aaron, I had felt like all hope was lost with our 1.5 year old German Shepherds behavior. He had developed severe leash, people and dog reactivity. We had stopped going on walks, leaving the house or even having guests over. We had contacted training companies prior to finding Aaron, and had not gotten promising information regarding the results/outcomes we could achieve with our dog even with aggression training. Aaron meets with everyone in consultation and it is then that we learned that our dog had fear based aggression. Aaron developed a training plan custom for our dogs needs and after one training session, we could already see positive growth. We met once weekly for our sessions and I was extremely comfortable with Aarons training methods the entire time we worked with him. Under Aarons guidance, we have nourished a calm and confident dog. We take him in public every where we go ( every opportunity to train) and no longer have issues with leash/people/dog reactivity. He truly shows no signs of aggression in public or at our house, and we can finally have people visit safely. After completion of our aggression training we decided to pursue obedience training as well, and this really has heightened his calmness and confidence. Also, it has created the greatest bond between myself and our dog, that I am grateful for.

Aaron trained two of my dogs for service dog certification. After only 2 visits and daily practice with my dogs, one dog (the older one) was full trained. The puppy took a little more work, but Aaron was extremely patient and great with her. Even after she was fully trained and certified, Aaron allowed us to continue meeting him to go over the training and to help us practice. I highly recommend Aaron and K9!

It was a pleasure to work with Aaron, and see the changes in my dog’s behaviors. Everyone loves him and praises him for being a “good” dog. They don’t know the struggle! I finally sought out help with my dog Luther. He had just turned 1 year old when I met Aaron. Luther is a Pitbull, Dalmatian, Labrador, and Shepherd mix, so yeah, very stubborn. I had reached my breaking point after my dog escaped many times and I thought I had lost him. He jumped on people and was all over their private areas when he met them. So invasive. I only had one month to do the training. I learned how to work with my dog and not lose my patience with him. Aaron gave us an assessment, and we started our journey. He gave me the skills to walk Luther in the proper way without pulling and lunging at other dogs or people. This was the most challenging part for us. Aaron made sure that we had that part down before we moved on to the next steps. Aaron has given me praise and reassurance when appropriate and reminded me that I’m the leader of this pack. I was at my wits end with a large rescue hound dog that I had taken in from a family member. There was absolutely nothing I could do to keep this otherwise lovely dog from aggressively barking, and jumping on anyone that came in the house. I could not have a guest in my own home. Aaron’s services have changed my life and I am happy to say I have taken back control of my home. He also helped with a number of issues I was having with my other dog as well, including, but not limited to walking on a leash properly and separation anxiety issues.
