When I first contacted Aaron, I was desperate. I’d just had a baby and was worried about my 3-year-old Doberman’s reactivity. Aaron came to the house and gave us both hope and a plan. We started with walking, and within five minutes my 86-pound dog who had always been a nightmare to walk was walking right alongside me with a loose leash. Next, we tackled his relationship with our two cats, which was so bad that we had completely given up and, for years, had been living in a segregated house, keeping a closed door between them. Again, after just five minutes of active training, my dog never chased the cats again, and now they are all perfectly happy to be in the same room together. As for the baby, working with Aaron gave us the confidence to have her around our dog. As we had them spend more time together, we learned that he was actually a perfect big brother. This entire experience completely changed our home life. Without realizing it, we had been slowly shrinking our lives to accommodate my dog’s behaviors. Working with Aaron was the reset we needed. My bond with my dog also grew stronger. Aaron’s training plan gave me the opportunity to get to know my sweet Doberman better and see how smart, capable, and desperate for structure he had been all along.
