Heather Pope Dog Training

Took SisKo, 6 month old Airedale. He is smart and funny. If you ever look at Heather‘s FB page you will see him Prancing and being dramatic. We needed help just with his training and his strong will. We have an elderly mom lives with us so needed help controlling him his high sprit. We opted to do the board and train. We really did not know what to expect. First day home we were nervous thinking we would not remember what to do but little by little it is falling into place. Heather and her team are professional and we could see how much they cared for SisKo. Highly recommend Thank you, Heather and Team.

We came to Heather to get our Doberman, Brandy, under control. She was wild, full of energy, and incredibly sweet, but we couldn’t take her anywhere without worrying about her behavior. The moment Heather was near her, it was obvious—she had this Doberman completely under control. Brandy listened to her in a way that felt almost supernatural. When it came to training us, I honestly felt like we were the slow learners! Heather has an incredible connection with dogs—it’s something you have to see to believe. She isn’t intimidated, and dogs simply respond to her naturally. Her experience and knowledge are evident, and although I don’t know all of her certifications, I do know she has many and is always working to earn more. She makes training look effortless, and when we had questions about stopping certain behaviors, her answers were so straightforward and effective that I felt silly for not thinking of them myself. Her communication is excellent, her instructions are clear, and she never made us feel rushed, even when we bombarded her with questions. She’s incredibly organized and always on time. The most valuable part of this experience was witnessing the way she connected with Brandy. My Doberman absolutely adores her, and that was heartwarming to see. Brandy is currently in the most challenging stage of puppyhood—the "Velociraptor phase"—but thanks to Heather, she is better behaved than most adult dogs I’ve met! Heather and her husband, Dave, make an incredible team. His training skills are just as impressive, and together, they create an environment where both dogs and owners feel supported and confident. Their dedication and passion for what they do are truly unmatched. I would wholeheartedly recommend Heather to any dog owner. Even if you’re just thinking about getting a dog, talking to her first would be incredibly helpful.
