Sogand was truly a godsend! Our sweet Bailee girl had been struggling with reactivity since she was around one year old (now 4). We had tried everything from taking online reactivity courses to watching videos on YouTube to help us with her. We really weren’t sure where to go especially after a family event where she was completely inconsolable. We went looking for professional help because we knew there was nothing left we could do on our own. Sogand’s website was the third site we looked at and hers captured us instantly. From the reviews to the photos and videos she shared on her website and social accounts, we could tell she was going to be the only person who could help us. Initially we had chosen to go with private lessons because we couldn’t imagine leaving her for two weeks, but ultimately, we ended up switching to the boot camp option after the first lesson because we knew she needed 24/7 support and work which we couldn’t provide. Bailee stayed for 3 weeks at Sogand’s ranch and the transformation in that short time was incredible! She was given a strong foundation and a major confidence boost in herself. We live on “reactive dog row” in our neighborhood and while Bailee may not always be perfect, she is able to refrain from barking when other dogs are barking and when we go out for walks, she’s able to focus on me and ignore her triggers (for the most part). This will be something we will be working on for the rest of her life, but it’s now manageable because of Sogand! We couldn’t be more thankful for her! Whenever we go on a trip, we send Bailee and our other dog, Loki, to Sogand for boarding and they both do a great job! Loki has bad separation anxiety but is now doing really well whenever he stays with Sogand. He loves going to the ranch now as much as Bailee does! I recommend Sogand to everyone I talk to about dogs and/or dog training because what Sogand is able to do is not something I believe many people can do. Shae at Hank’s Dog Training has helped so much with our 130# high energy lab. Tank has always been pretty well behaved at home, but as soon as we would take him out, he would pull me down the street. He would also get so excited when he saw other people or dogs, that he would come off as aggressive. Shae exercises him a bit before walks to wear him down. He has trained him to pull much less on the leash, if at all. He stops and gets him to stay calm while other people or animals walk by. He has him staying without holding the leash etc. This has helped us immensely, and we are so grateful for his services. Shae also grooms and sheds for us, and does a way better job than any other groomers I’ve used in the past. He also has hosted multiple summer dog pool parties, that Tank LOVED!
