Helping Hounds Dog Training

I've recently started the adoption process with a pit bull rescued from an abusive past and she literally has the scars to prove it. From what I've gathered from the rescue, she started out terrified of everything, she had no social cues, and just had a complete lack of confidence. The rescue trusted Helping Hounds with training and rebuilding her prior to finding her a home. Samantha Sampson has worked her butt off with my new pup, Ziti, and it definitely shows. Literally, the first day I met Ziti, she was running around the room, playing, licking everyone. Sam walked her through cues with me in the room so that I could follow suit and Ziti even listened to me! Sam was super informative without being intimidating or overly criticizing. She's been thorough with checking in to see how things are going and is quick to respond with heaps of information anytime I have questions. I honestly can not believe how far Ziti's come in such a short time and I can't thank Samantha and Helping Hounds enough!

I take my dog Jade (one year old pit mix) to helping hounds. She is a handful and helping hounds has been great in giving me ideas to build confidence. I am able to text trainers with questions/ concerns. I found all trainers to be knowledgeable. Owner Bre Ponder has the experience and training in working with a variety of dogs and behaviors. I would encourage anyone to consider helping hounds when bringing a new dog or puppy in your home.
