Helping Howls

Helping Howls is fantastic. Tala's deep knowledge, extensive experience, and certifications mean that you are getting the best of the best help when it comes to training your service dog. Tala helped me find my dog, and she included comprehensive details and considerations when choosing breed, breeders, litters, and prospects. Everyone training a service dog will have individual needs, and I feel like Tala knew exactly the things I needed to hear, when I needed to hear them, to make me feel capable and reassured during the stressful process of finding my dog and beginning training. I'm a certified R+ dog trainer myself, so I have VERY high standards when looking to work with others for my own dogs, and I feel very strongly that when you work with Tala, you will also get exactly the type of training education that is scientific, ethical, and kind.

Wow where do I even begin?? First I’d like to say I’m incredibly picky when it comes to dog trainers, and I trust very few people with my dogs. I first found Tala and Helping Howls via instagram and I was so impressed with them. I have an adolescent working line male Labrador and while he is the best boy, I’ve had a really hard time with him. I got in contact with Tala and we met on zoom to discuss a board and train for my dog Riot, and she sounded like the perfect fit. As soon she picked him up and brought him to her house I felt so content knowing he was in good hands. I think we’ve all heard so many horror stories about bad trainers, so of course I was hesitant, but using Helping Howls is the best choice I have ever made… seriously! Tala sent me daily updates as well as posting multiple training videos and pics on her instagram which made me so happy, especially seeing how happy Riot was with her! Before Riots board, we could barely walk him because his leash pulling was out of control. He is so strong it was dangerous to walk him and we needed help asap. Tala truly came to the rescue. She taught him how to do freedom walks and structured walks, and I’m so happy to say Riot now goes on daily walks, and LOVES them. I no longer have to worry about injuring myself, because he walks and listens beautifully! Tala I’m truly blow away! He also learned many different pattern games, how to walk next to my wheelchair, as well as strengthening some of his basics. I am so impressed with the incredible work Helping Howls has done with Riot, and my family and I cannot thank them enough. 100/10 recommend Tala’s services. She is incredibly knowledgeable, loves dogs, and is so so gentle and kind with them. We will absolutely be repeat customers, and we could not be more happy with the results! THANK YOU HELPING HOWLS!
