Darshan is nothing short of amazing! He invested an incredible amount of time, effort, and care into helping my anxious and reactive Doberman. My boy is a very challenging case but Darshan made significant improvements in both his behavior and his ability to regulate his emotions. Darshan and his wife, Adela, are genuinely wonderful people! Darshan has decades of dog training experience and a wealth of hands-on knowledge. He is one of the most experienced trainers I’ve ever met, yet he never claims to know it all. Instead, he continues to invest in his education by regularly attending seminars, lectures, and training events to stay current and expand his knowledge. Just as important as his skill, is his love and care for every dog that comes into his program. He went above and beyond in helping our boy with far more than just behavior. His skin condition improved, he put on healthy weight, and he’s now able to tolerate a much wider variety of foods than before. I saw firsthand on multiple occasions how Darshan became my dog’s favorite person. My Doberman genuinely enjoyed being around him and respected him without ever being fearful. Darshan does not rely on fear or intimidation to train dogs. If you’re considering professional dog training, do yourself a favor and work with Darshan sooner rather than later. He is worth every penny and then some. Finding someone with his level of knowledge, dedication, and genuine care for both dogs and their owners is rare. We are incredibly grateful for everything he and Adela have done for our family and our dog. In fact, even though we live 14 hours away, we would gladly make the drive again to have Darshan care for our boy during an extended vacation. That level of trust is something he has truly earned.

This review is long overdue. We sent our girl (Yoshi) for board and training with Darshan late last year, 2025, she completed her puppy training with his team. We can’t thank him and his team enough for the immense canine education for us and our pup. Me and my husband often joke about how our girl is such a proper little lady and it all starts with the foundation that Herran’s Canine Services has instilled in her. From being a novice in canine obedience to having found joy in training Yoshi and making sure her needs are met as well as ours. He has been such an informative measure and you can tell the passion he has for dogs and their training. I cannot express how grateful we are to have found him and his team and highly recommend him to anyone that’s looking to get their pet trained. We are looking forward to continuing our girls training for leash/ecollar in the near future as we know she’s very excited to see him again. D. Herran is the most impressive dog trainer! Happy dogs that are so willing to give him their best. Icing on the cake is that he is so in tune to humans. A great teacher. If he asks you a question-he looks into your eyes- and can tell if you don't quite get it. He then teaches the human until it becomes clear by explanation, example, and having client execute the motion to be sure they can practice it properly at home. Can't say enough about this man, his talents and his passion for dogs.
