The best money we’ve ever spent on our dogs! Last year, our two dogs got in a bad fight with each other, so we decided to enroll them in dog training at High Drive after recommendation from a friend. We did both the basic and advanced classes and started seeing changes immediately. Not only did the aggression go away, but we learned how to stop our dogs from jumping up on visitors, barking at other dogs, walk without pulling on the leash, and listen to us every time we call them or say a command. Friends and family often comment at how our dogs seem completely changed and well behaved, and we feel better prepared to handle any situation or other dog. Carly is direct and will not sugarcoat in her training. She teaches you the facts on how dogs think and how to actually communicate with them. Everything she recommended to us was for the good of our dogs, and ultimately, even a year later (and for the rest of our lives), we are reaping the benefits. They named this business after my dog brisket, a 10 pound high-drive gangster of a chi mix. We are at the last week of 8 of the basics class, and his transformation has been profound. Ok, my transformation has been profound: my whole life I always thought I understood my dogs, but it turns out I'd just been a coddling oaf with all of them. Carly is a gifted dog behavior specialist, but more so a human behavior savant. It can be difficult to make some of the changes she requires of her students, but once you do, the changes in your dog come FAST. My relationship with my dog has gone from perpetual management of all of the things that I thought were immovable about him - intenese reactivity, lease aggression, being a total dick at the door, yadda yadda - to relaxed, fun and easy. We're certainly not done yet, but knowing we're on the right path feels so great. I will just say this - if you have any of those aforementioned issues with your dog - take a class here. Check your ego at the door, trust Carly, and you will come out the other side with a markedly different relationship wth your pet. Most importantly, your dog will have a waaay better life, which is really the goal, right? 10 out of 5 stars.

We brought both of our Portuguese Water dogs, one 6 years and one 9 years old, to High Drive for basic training and followed up with advanced classes. We have had them in daycare and boarding. I cannot say enough about the impact that Carly and her team have had on the quality of their lives, and therefore ours. Carly is the most knowledgeable person about dog behavior and training we’ve ever met. She cares and is strict about the importance of following her instructions, repetition, reward, and discipline. They now follow commands, are able to be with us when we have guests, and are able to be with other dogs while walking and playing. We wish we had known about High Drive a lot earlier.
