High Drive Dog Company

I can't recommend Carly and High Drive Dog Company staff enough. Carly is so incredibly knowledgeable about dogs, and is able to help us dog owners better understand our dogs behavior and what we should and should NOT do when training a puppy or trying to correct unwanted behavior in a dog any age. She will not sugar coat anything for us dog owners. I like to think of it as "tough love". I realized just how easy it is to coddle our dogs so much and that just doesn't work if you have a "high drive/high energy" dog and need them to behave and listen. I never realized that we were part of the problem! Carly truly cares about dogs. She will help your dog overcome fear, and be a confident and amazing companion for life. I have to also add that the whole staff over there at High Drive are amazing and very caring people! ;)

What a transformation! I took my anxious biter who I had completely adapted my life around to high drive and was amazed. The initial board and train set my Australian shepherd up for success in a way I would never have gotten to on my own and certainly not with any of the many positive - only trainers I’d consulted before. I had taken Luna to several trainers that either said she was a lost cause or barely moved the needle on her behavior or her disposition. What was truly unexpected was how relaxed my dog became without meds. I had been so fearful as a coddling co-dependent dog owner not to hurt or cause harm that my protectiveness was woefully misplaced. Carly helped me see the kindness in structure and truly helping empower my dog. I’ve had more cuddles and love then ever before, all of my fears have vanished as it is beyond evident that momentary correction / meaningfulness is traded for lasting calm in my pup. This was the kindest thing I could have done for my pup and wish I had many years sooner. I can not thank this place enough, such a weight has been lifted and we’re able to live happy easy lives together in a way I never thought possible.

They'll steal your money and your soul! I paid them for a follow on class, which turned out to be the wrong class. They credited me for the right class, but I couldn't attend it at that time. When I circled back several months later to apply the credit, they told me that it wasn't valid. Um, that's stealing in my book - taking money and not offering the service. And, watchout for Carlie (or Cathy or Karen, can't remember her name). She made one of my neighbors cry because she couldn't get her dog to do an activity. And, she would passively aggressively badger other ladies in the class. Just because we can't train our dogs to the top standards doesn't mean that we're bad people.
