Gabriela is AMAZING - I was struggling to understand my (large, rescue) dog, and after an incident with another dog, I desperately needed help! She booked an appointment immediately, and helped me understand my dog better, learn multiple training strategies and approaches, and just overall, better understand and communicate with my dog. Before the first visit with Gabriela, walking my dog was nerve-wracking because of her reactivity - now, I'm relaxed, *and* know exactly what to do when my dog starts reacting. Gabriela is so amazing at what she does! My sweet boy, Paco, grew to truly love her and her sessions in such a short time. When I reached out to Gabriela, Paco struggled with some aggressive behaviors toward strangers, was reactive toward people, dogs and cars on walks and was demonstrating some reactivity/sleep aggression. Gabriela helped us learn how to better understand Paco's non-verbal cues, better meet his needs as a pup, and in such a short time we saw so many improvements. I was in awe at the quick gains he made! If you are willing to commit to putting in the work and following through, I'm certain you will have much success with Gabriela! I most appreciated that she would take whatever time she needed to be thorough in each session, regardless of the agreed upon timeframe. Gabriela is amazing! She really knows her stuff and is serious about what she does. She has a tremendous amount of knowledge on dogs and their behaviors. We hired Gabriela because we were having issues with our 1 year old Havanese coming when called and having accidents in the house. She taught us (and Louie) a lot and we have learned a lot from her. She even taught us some other techniques that she thought would be helpful for Louie and made other recommendations as well. He has gotten much better with coming when called and having less accidents in our home thanks to Gabriela's techniques that she showed us. We just finished our last session with Gabriela today and I can't say enough about how helpful and kind she has been to both my Havanese and to my mother and I. She is very personable. Louie loved when she would come to our home for his training sessions. He especially loved the treats she would reward him with when he did something good!
