I found Lauren through TikTok and was immediately impressed by the before and after training videos she shared. I have two dogs and, after feeling like I had tried everything, I finally decided to give professional training a try with Lauren and I’m so glad I did! Lauren truly has a gift with dogs. She is calm, patient, and confident, but also firm and consistent when it comes to correcting unwanted behaviors. You can tell this is her calling, and the dogs really respond to her. I learned a lot about what I need to improve also because it’s not just the dogs. I also loved how involved she was throughout the process. Even on days when I was working and couldn’t be there, she provided feedback, videos, and updates so we could see how our dogs were progressing. Being able to look back at those videos was so helpful and showed us just how much they were improving. Lauren gave us hope that we could actually make a difference with our dogs behaviors, while also teaching us how to continue reinforcing everything at home. I truly cannot recommend Lauren enough! If you feel like you’ve tried everything with your dog, give her a chance. She genuinely cares, knows what she’s doing, and has made such a positive difference for our family. We are so thankful we found her!

My dog was reactive to other larger dogs after being attacked by a black lab. He also became very anxious whenever we took him to a park or a different place to walk. After lessons with Lauren, he heels, does not pull me, does not mark except when I allow him to and best of all, large dogs can walk past and he does not get anxious or upset. Hiking Hounds of Bend has made a huge difference in my relationship with my dog and with his behavior. I would encourage anyone who has a dog that has bad habits or is reactive to get their training.

TRANSFORMATIVE best describes the change I’ve seen in my 6 month old “high energy” GSP in the six weeks of training with Lauren. I noticed him “heeling” much better on the second session. I am greatly appreciative of the varied locations for training, which mirrors what he is already accustomed to. For a senior, with a few health issues, (osteoporosis…) it is important to that I have my boy trained well. It makes for a better relationship as well. KEY POINT: He doesn’t PULL as much and my shoulder no longer hurts! His RECALL is steadily improving & he isn’t as rowdy with my six year old Viszla as before the lessons either. We decided on four consecutive sessions weekly which has contributed to vast improvement. I can rewatch the videos she sends too. Her approach and experience is UNPARALLELED. Lauren is trusted & responsible and continued adventure hikes will definitely continue. AXL has a relationship with her that I want to keep moving forward. Lauren trained our rescue puppy which was very reactive to other dogs during her walks. Our puppy is a cross between a pit bull and a boarder collie. Lauren was wonderful with her and with us with her instructions, she was patient, and always on time . Our puppy is no longer reactive, doesn't pull on leash, we can take her to off leash dog parks and her recall is perfect. Lauren is amazing with dogs! She is the HEAL MASTER!!
