If you have been doing hydrotherapy with your own dog like at Rocky's retreat is the owner of the dog allowed in the water also here
Currently the owners of all HIP DOG’s canines can sit close to the edge of pool, not in pool, to observe and to encourage their pets to swim and play.

Does this facility offer the underwater treadmill treatment for dogs?
They don't. That would be really neat but they don't. There is a gradual ledge where your dog can walk into the water as well as a ledge about 4ft long on the other side. They would work with your dog in the water letting them kick naturally as well as helping with the occasional massage.

Great exercise for dogs. Highly recommended for active dogs that need to burn some energy. Low impact, high demand workout. Staff is awesome. .

I am OBSESSED with this place. My dachshund got diagnosed with degenerative spine disease and needed hydrotherapy to lose weight and help with mobility. Kristina and Tom are literal angels and I can’t believe my pup is officially off pain meds. We bring Simba and the whole gang once a week and its become our favorite family activity. I look forward to seeing my little pups swimming in their cute little life vests LOL. Amazing place, amazing people, the best experience. Totally recommend :)

I feel like I have my dog back again. My 13 year old German Shepherd has played hard all of his life and now struggles with arthritis. Adequan injections work to a point, but I could tell he was still depressed and had a hard time getting around. He has only gone swimming at Hip Dog 3 times, but he has so much joy and energy every day now, not just on swim days. I have a long driveway and he "helped" me get the mail the other day, without any encouragement to keep walking, for the first time in over a year. If you're on the fence about coming here like I was, just do it. You'll see on the first day that it's more than a job for the people that work here. They love working with and helping dogs. It's worth every penny.

My mini Golden-doodle absolutely loves to swim at Hip Dog Canine Hydrotherapy . The staff puts a life vest on her , then Stella picks out her favorite toy (from at least 100 choices.) then she swims her heart out. Swimming in their pool with an easy entry ramp has given her confidence, kept her lean , and gives us a fun activity to look forward to each week. I highly recommend Hip Dog for all dogs large and small.
