FirstBarkThey are very good at training and helping your dog to swim. When I first went my Rottweiler puppy was afraid to get in the water and swim but after 4 sessions he is not afraid anymore. He gets in the pool by himself and loves swimming. They were very patient with him. Thank you so much for helping Teddy swim

Currently the owners of all HIP DOG’s canines can sit close to the edge of pool, not in pool, to observe and to encourage their pets to swim and play.

Does this facility offer the underwater treadmill treatment for dogs?
They don't. That would be really neat but they don't. There is a gradual ledge where your dog can walk into the water as well as a ledge about 4ft long on the other side. They would work with your dog in the water letting them kick naturally as well as helping with the occasional massage.

Providing excellent customer care for your four legged family members. Hip Dog provides a heated pool (in the winter) for dogs that need to stretch their muscles and exercise in a gator-free zone.
The best and most friendly place to bring our dog. He cries in anticipation all the way from Dr Phillips when he knows he is going to Hip Dog. 100% recommended.

Hip Dog Canine Hydrotherapy has been a gift to our entire family. My grand dogs, my brother-in -laws dog, and our dog all have enjoyed the warm saltwater pool. Puppy swim lessons for the Rottweiler, hydrotherapy for a torn CCL, and swimming to strengthen weakness in the hips and symptoms from arthritis are a few of the services our dogs needed and benefited from. The staff is knowledgeable , their 23 years of swimming with dogs in Central Florida shows. Each dog is given individualized attention with two therapists in the pool at all times. I highly recommend you bring your dog to their state of the art, brand new pool with a ramp in Winter Park FL.🐾🐾
