First of all, if you ever walk in my shop you will love the vibe, the happy dogs and employees. You will see all the lives of dogs that have been changed that no one, including the employee who encouraged you to write this could handle. I was warned not to hire because she would be a problem, I guess I should have listened . We do dogs no one will touch and are very kind to them, so kind in fact they trust us and often no longer need to be medicated by their owners. We also let people stay if need be. People rave about us, we get tons of referrals and are growing daily. You do not know me , have never spoken to me and until then, this review is completely invalid. I appreciate you supporting your family, however I have discussed this situation with over 20 people and this is ridiculous. I am so grateful to finally have a staff that doesn't complain, is kind to the dogs and can handle a full day of work, even if it is on a Saturday. People drive an hour to come to Hippie Hounds. The person who had you do this did not want to work on Saturdays and threw a fit several times, never when I was there. Never did I cuss at anyone nor do I EVER SCREAM AT ANYONE or any animals, yelling is a waste of energy. I use cuss words when I communicate on a regular basis because that is who I am and I don't put people down. Weak people take things personally and turn them into dramatic scenes such as this. I tell people when I hire them that I am direct, cuss like a sailor and do not sugar coat anything. She's a big girl, I thought she could handle an adult conversation. Instead she has whoever you are, her mother? All I said to her was no one wants to work with a POUTY PANTS...then this review That's fine, I am not worried one bit about this. This is a great place and it will thrive despite your attempts to put me and this wonderful place I have created down. She told me she was too lazy to clean properly and I quote "I'm gonna be honest, I was being lazy",and would get frustrated with the dogs if she hadn't had a cigarette or after having done 3 of them. Everyone noticed that right away. Hopefully she can find a job she can handle that wont be too stressful for her. She walked out on her last job too and violated a contract. Maybe she needs to work on her people skills and how to hold a job. Dogs love me, my staff loves me, people love me. We will continue to grow despite your negativity. I'm sure you will have Joe and Julie and whoever else leave more negative reviews, however the people who actually know me, my shop, my staff and how happy dogs are that come in to the stress free shop that I have will continue to come and spread positive vibes instead of this childish non sense. If anyone would like to see the texts, i have printed them and would love to discuss them. I was not, in anyway being mean or cussing AT her I have nothing to hide and I did nothing wrong. People have their own perception and there are always 2 sides to every story. Don't let this ridiculous review keep your furry friends from getting great treatment, top of the line products, less than 3 hours groom time and a cage free environment. We look forward to seeing new faces. We have over 20 years experience and a certified Master Groomer. We love our job and I love my hard working, non complaining, adult staff. It is time for her to move on, for you to find something else to do with your free time since you have left reviews on several sites as well as all of her friends and family that she has convinced of such a time waster. Girls at the shop make $400 and $500 a week and up , they just have to stay at work when they are scheduled instead of standing around complaining, it's that simple. Walk ins and calls come in everyday. People like that aren't here to groom them or will send them away because they don't feel like working. She missed out on a great opportunity of a fast-growing business. Now that we have all of that cleared up have a blessed day.
