Not only is puppy training but it’s people training. They communicate on what to work on and help understand what’s best for you and your pup!

HDOC has been training dogs (and their people) in Griffith Park for over 75 years! Hollywood Dog Obedience Club (HDOC) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1949 to better the relationships and lives of dogs and their owners. Since its founding, HDOC has focused on creating a happy and stable partnership with dogs and dog owners so that both receive the love and support they desire. HDOC is a fully licensed member of the American Kennel Club and has trained thousands of dogs and owners over the years in basic obedience, puppy socialization, AKC obedience and rally training, and problem dog therapy.

So happy to have been recommended this class! It is totally reasonably priced (most dog trainers are a fortune). The training is really for the owners. Linda is teaching the humans to behave- to have calm dominant energy. Very optimistic she will help our dog.
This is an excellent 8 week program and the most reasonable costwise. Be prepared for being mentally challenged as an owner. I would say it is "human training" for a better understanding of being best friends with another species.
Great group training. 1 on 1 was available after class to go over lessons I was doing incorrectly or learn to execute them effectively. Our dog got her novice obedience certificate! We still have lots of training to do with her but now we have the knowledge and skills to do it. 👍
incredible dog trainers ! Bill & Matt helped train my puppy & more importantly, helped train me how to train my puppy. i wanted dog training that helped with both owner & dog, which is exactly what I found with HDOC. currently going thru the first level of obedience class with Linda & have noticed incredible improvements with my pup. So grateful for their awesome trainers !
