About Hollywood Dog Obedience Club
HDOC has been training dogs (and their people) in Griffith Park for over 75 years! Hollywood Dog Obedience Club (HDOC) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1949 to better the relationships and lives of dogs and their owners. Since its founding, HDOC has focused on creating a happy and stable partnership with dogs and dog owners so that both receive the love and support they desire. HDOC is a fully licensed member of the American Kennel Club and has trained thousands of dogs and owners over the years in basic obedience, puppy socialization, AKC obedience and rally training, and problem dog therapy.

Trainers are all great.
I did the puppy class with my 4 1/2 month old German shepherd! We learned a lot and got to hang out with a bunch of cool puppies! A must do class for puppies!
We enrolled in the puppy class for our pup Murphy and learned so much. Matt and Bill are great trainers and legitimately love all the furballs that come through there. Going to be enrolling in the novice obedience class next!
HDOC is a great venue to socialize your dog from puppyhood to advanced classes. One can start their pup in Puppy Class. At 6 months old or older can begin the Novice Obedience Class. Rally and Advance Classes are also offered. The members of the club are so supportive and helpful to students and their dogs. The group classes are a great way to properly socialize your dog.
