Holt’s Training Academy

Our 2.5 year old Wirehaired Pointer went through the advanced program and came out a completely new dog. She was wild. I mean WILD. Honestly, we knew we were either going to be miserable with our dog for the rest of her life, or bite the bullet and pay for training so we could enjoy her everyday rather than have to deal with her wildness and chaos everyday and let’s just say MONEY WELL SPENT. We have a calm, collective dog who obeys when we give her direction. She thrives off of doing her job and listening to her commands. We couldn’t recommend Holt’s Training Academy enough!!!

Brought my 8 month old Goldendoodle here for the 2 month advanced training program and it absolutely transformed him. He is still his normal playful self but now he is controllable and very obedient. His off leash manners are very impressive. I was nervous to be away from him so long and worried he wouldn’t listen to me right away since I had not personally trained him, but when I picked him up he followed my commands immediately. On his graduation date Brant showed us how to continue his training at home and told us everything we needed to know. I highly recommend anyone who wants their dog to be at the service dog standard to send them to holts training academy!! Looking forward to a worry-free life with my pup!!

I got an adorable German Shepherd puppy, brought her home, and then realized she was actually a velociraptor, demon possessed monster. This is not an exaggeration. I took her to a well known training facility where I was told she was untrainable, flunked out, and was sent home. She was 4 months old… THEN I FOUND HOLT’S TRAINING FACILITY!!! I was not very hopeful or trusting, when I was driving to meet with Brant, but was welcomed, listened to, and had the most professional and kind conversation with him. I left my monster with him that day. She came home about a week ago after 2 months of training and I couldn’t be happier with her training. I take Schatzi almost everywhere with me now (on and off leash!) and have received so many comments on how well she’s trained. She will be 8 months old next week, that should tell you what a miracle facility this is. Please trust this business. Family setting, professional, and great communication are only a few of their many amazing traits. Watch their online videos and you’ll see what they can do with any dog. We sent our 50-lb pit bull mix rescue, Maddie, to Holt’s Training Academy, and it honestly changed everything for us. Maddie was aggressive, extremely stubborn, and unpredictable with people. Walks were stressful, and I couldn’t safely have my mom, sister, or girlfriend around her. Off-leash wasn’t even an option. Brant kept her for about 8 weeks and brought back a completely different dog—in the best way. She now listens off leash, walks calmly on leash, doesn’t jump on people, and comfortably lets my family and girlfriend pet her and sit on the couch with her. I can finally take her on off-leash walks with confidence. What really stood out is that Brant doesn’t just train the dog—he trains you. He sends you home with an e-collar and takes the time to show you how to use it correctly and responsibly so the results actually last. Brant was honest, easy to communicate with, and clearly cares about the dogs he works with. Maddie kept her personality, but now she’s safe, controllable, and happy. If you have a tough or reactive dog and feel stuck, this is absolutely worth the investment. I can’t recommend Holt’s Training Academy enough. I will definitely be boarding Maddie there anytime I travel!
