Our pup Jodi completed the 3 week program with Charles a few months ago.   Within a few seconds of meeting Charles on Jodi's first day, he escaped my car and headed straight for the street.  Charles instantly guided me on how to get him back ... AND IT WORKED!  We brought Jodi to training as a shy and timid 6.5 month old dog with hopes of making him a citizen of the world.  Each week we saw Jodi evolve,  pushing ourselves  to grow and learn with him.  The program included personalized videos of our dog with detailed specifics, and lots of opportunity for feedback and thoughtful words at the end of each week.  I feel like we are the blessed ones to have found Charles and his family.  We look forward to the bi-monthly classes we can do as a graduates of the program.  I found this entire experience to be one of the best decisions we have made as a family.  Charles is a true professional in his field, thank you again!

Indy originally participated in a board and train programme with Charles, Laura and Wyatt at k9 Culture in 2021/2022 for his dog reactivity and anxiety. After the 2 week board and train we attended their weekly classes. Indy’s reactivity improved remarkably and he became a much happier guy. We have kept up with his training and continue to use the skills we learned through their programme with Indy everyday. We now have 3 kids and Indy has continued to be an amazing family dog who understands boundaries (and vice versa with the kids!). He continues to walk beautifully on leash, is not reactive to other dogs on walks, and does amazing when on a stroller walk/bike ride with the other kids🥰 We have since moved to Houston so we know longer attend training classes but if you’re looking for dog training, these guys are the best in DFW! Bringing Indy to y’all for help 5 yrs ago was the best thing we could have ever done for him. With consistency and repetition, you really can turn an anxious and scared pup into a confident and happy dog. Indy is now 9, almost 10, years old and is happily entering his golden years still following commands and being a goof ball. Selective hearing is still occasionally a problem but that maybe age related these days 🤣 🥲 We miss yall so much! ( I have attached a photo of Indy placing on his placement cots during dinner with baby/kid/food distractions!)

We just wrapped up a 5-week program with Charles and OMG, it’s a miracle. Scout is a one years old GSD mix, and was taken from her mom at just 2 weeks old. Her puppy phase was a literal nightmare — chewing, nipping, crying, jumping, barking, all the bad behaviors. She was so anxious and wired all the time, I was at that point of rehoming her if training didn’t work out. My first impression of Charles was that he was very calm, kind, and competent — just what Scout needed. By the end of the first week, I could already tell it was the right move — Scout was noticeably more relaxed after just one week. By week 3 she was a whole new dog. Week 5, she’s genuinely a joy to be around and I take her everywhere. We’ve gone on off leash treks, lakes, farmers market, parks/playgrounds, car rides, pond swims, all of the fun!! I was so blinded by her behavior problems, I couldn’t even see what life could be like with a socially trained dog. HOME Dog Training is hands down the best experience I’ve ever had. Twice a week you get video “pupdates” from the team, every Friday you get a handoff lesson, every weekend you get homework. So training the dog owner is SOLID. During training, I trusted Scout was in good hands. She irked hard everyday, she went on car rides and a few field trips! This is the difference between Charles’ operation and everyone else’s — they train your dog like it’s theirs. Training is done at their home (in a very nice, newly built training building) and they take the dogs out socially so the pup is prepared when the owner is confident enough to go places. PLUS, we went to our first group class which was great! Just several other dog lovers doing fun dog things! This helps socialize the pups and keeps the training skills sharp. TLDR; if you’re ready to get rid of your dog, just make the investment in training first. You’ll have THE BEST companion by the end!

HOME Dog Training has been the best experience for our dog, Dugg! We did the 3-week Board and Train to help with Dugg’s reactivity towards other dogs and sometimes new people. During the 3 weeks working with Charles and his family, Dugg built an essential foundation of confidence, created positive habits, and learned how to make great choices. Our walks have become much more controlled and enjoyable now that we have the tools in place to avoid big reactions towards other dogs. He has also shown huge growth in warming up to new people. If you are thinking about getting training for your dog (and for yourself), I can’t recommend HOME enough. We look forward to continuing our training through group classes!
