Hometown Hounds

It was a great experience working with Chris! Our nearly one-year-old chocolate lab, Bruce, struggled on walks due to excitement with other dogs. Chris took the time to understand our dog’s behavior and taught my fiancé and me effective strategies and tools to make walks more manageable and enjoyable. He also helped us address our dog’s habit of jumping on guests when they entered the house, and we’ve seen a noticeable improvement. Chris was highly engaged throughout the process, checking in regularly and tailoring each session to our specific concerns. We highly recommend Chris—our dog was always very excited when he walked through the door!

Chris was amazing and had our dog (Windsor) walking better on a leash after just one session. We did the multisession package which was great and allowed us to work on a few things and refine what was learned in the previous session. Chris was great with our boy from day one and made sure to not only teach our dog, but show us how to do it too so we could follow through. His reward based training helped keep Windsor engaged while having fun. Communication was great too, fast and efficient with check ins on our dog’s progress. Definitely would recommend.

Chris is truly a lifesaver. He is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and endlessly patient. He worked thoughtfully with both our older dog (addressing issues we’d been struggling with for quite some time), as well as our new puppy, setting both of them up for long-term success. The confidence shift we’ve seen in our older pup has been nothing short of amazing- Walks used to be incredibly stressful, but Chris helped turn him into a well-mannered gentleman who no longer pulls/barks at people or other dogs in the neighborhood. We couldn’t be happier with the progress! He didn’t just offer effective solutions- he made sure they were solutions we felt comfortable and confident implementing which is something we truly appreciated. He always arrived on time, fully prepared, and was quick to adjust the training plan on the spot whenever new concerns came up. We are so grateful for Chris and cannot recommend him highly enough!
