Honor K9 Dog Training

I have had an amazing time training with Mark at Honor K9. He is very professional and absolutely loves all animals. My Penny was giving me a run for my money and since we’ve been training not only do I see a huge difference but my neighbors do also. It felt great just to hear a neighbor say how much better behaved little Penny is. This was a perfect match for me and my puppy. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. The communication, education, as well as kindness that have been shown to me and my puppy is priceless. Thank you Alexis for always responding so quickly and Mark a big shoutout and THANK YOU for being such an amazing trainer.

I’ve used Honor K9’s dog training services twice and would highly recommend Mark. Mark is honest, incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and a stern but super fair trainer with years of experience in various areas of dog training (including working dogs). I first connected with Mark when my 3 dogs were about 3 years old. They struggled with some aggression, excessive barking, and were really hard to walk on leash. Mark provided us with the tools we needed to resolve all issues with a heavy emphasis on integrating training into our daily routine to help us and the dogs adhere to the new commands. He truly met our dogs where they were at behavior wise and was not overly pushy in order to get results. We mainly focused on the resolving aggression/ anxious behaviors like lunging at other dogs and excessive barking indoors. To resolve this we did sessions of “pack walks” and standard in home training. Pack walks are where Mark showed us how to handle the leashes properly, how to tune into our dogs own signs of over stimulation or anxiety to know to properly correct behaviors, and how to correct the aggression towards other dogs. Now my dogs are 11 and because my family and I slacked off a bit in our own training we reached out to mark again for a refreshers course. Mark was able to get us back on track in just 4 sessions. I wouldn’t trust any other company. If you’re committed to bettering your dogs temperament, improving your quality of life as well as theirs with quality and humane training I would definitely recommend Honor K9.

I had such a wonderful experience with Mark & I cannot recommend him enough! One of my biggest worries when initially looking for a trainer was that their methods would be too intense and aggressive. Mark was truly exceptional and definitely eased my worries right away. It was apparent from our first session that Mark had a lot of respect for my dog (Flynn) and went about training in a positive, yet effective manner. He never rushed our sessions, was incredibly thorough, and answered all questions that I had (& I did have a lot since I really wanted to get training right haha). He was happy to walk a bit aways to my local park during our sessions in order to put us in the best situation to target the areas of training I wanted to work on with Flynn (e.g. reactiveness when seeing other dogs/ people). With his help, I've recently had my first walk with Flynn where he has not barked at other dogs, which is a huge milestone for us & extremely motivational! Again, I can truly tell that Mark cares deeply for animals and the profession of training, and I can guarantee that you are in great hands with him as your trainer! I am excited to continue to work on all of the skills that he has taught both myself & Flynn and want to thank him again for all that he has done for us :)
