Honor Your Dog: Training and Behavior Solutions

My husband and I are thrilled with the training of our 1 year old English lab Timber. Before his training at Honor Your Dog, Timber could best be described as "a lot" (and that was putting it mildly) - his constant chewing of household items and our daughter's toys, wild behavior on a leash, counter surfing, etc. drove us to look for help. We are so happy we found Honor Your Dog. Since his 3 week training program with Landon and Morgan, his life and our lives have completely transformed. They created a foundation of skills for Timber and gave us the tools to build on that foundation. Not only is our home now much more peaceful, but Timber is happier than ever. I couldn’t be happier with my experience sending my boy, Murphy, to Honor Your Dog Training and Behavior Solutions. From the very beginning, Landon and Morgan were amazing with communication regarding their services, pricing, and scheduling a free assessment. They made the entire process feel easy and reassuring. Throughout Murphy’s training, I received daily pictures and pupdates, which really helped ease my nerves and showed just how happy and comfortable he was during his stay. Honestly, by the end of the program, I wasn’t sure Murphy would even want to come home because he was having such a great time! What really stood out to me was the support after training. They came to my home and walked me through everything Murphy had learned to make sure I understood the commands and how to maintain the training at home. It made such a difference having that hands on guidance. Since coming home, Murphy has been incredible. On our first outing after training, he was calm around other people and animals during hikes, and his recall at his favorite beach was phenomenal. I’m beyond happy with the results and so grateful for the care and dedication they gave Murphy. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality dog training!

We had an amazing experience with Honor Your Dog. We were exhausted with our golden counter surfing, not listening, and chewing everything. A few weeks with Landon and Morgan and he’s a whole new pup! Listens when we tell him to drop, or off, and we can now leave things out on the counter and they’re safe. He recalls now if we’re out and significantly improved when meeting new people by sitting and waiting to be pet vs jumping on them. Definitely recommend you give them a try!
