Lisa has taught me so much about working with dogs, especially those with stranger danger and reactivity, and helping them reach their full potential. If there is something she’s not as familiar with she does the research and makes contact with other trainers to also increase her knowledge. She has worked in many different settings and does a great job adapting and working with others in all settings. Your dog will make leaps and bounds in their training with her!

Lisa taught me the skills to train my dogs basic commands plus how to deal with problematic behaviors such as barking for attention, barking at the doorbell, mouthing, etc. All training has been positive reinforcement training and the dogs love it. I can't tell you how valuable it is to tell your dog "quiet" while in a work-from-home meeting and have instant silence. It's also fun to let the dogs show off their tricks when visitors are over. I believe Lisa's job is a labor of love as she truly enjoys helping animals and helping people interact with animals. Lisa worked at the same shelter that I volunteer at in Colorado and went above and beyond her job to donate countless hours to train and advocate for dogs with behavior issues who without her would not have been adoptable.

Lisa taught classes at the animal shelter where I volunteer and time and again we saw animals transform to well behaved, confident and well mannered members of future families. She would look at the dog’s behavior to understand what the dog was needing or communicating and would modify training so it was successful for different animals. She used positive reinforcement and believes in putting dogs in situations where they make good decisions and do not practice undesirable behavior so they continue their success. She trained volunteers, staff and patrons in her classes. Once I adopted, I signed up for her classes to get started on the right foot, er, paw with my new dog. She was very good and helping me to train my dog in multiple environments/situations where we would be in real life. I would highly recommend Lisa.
