FirstBarkWe were very lucky to find Emile and Olivia from Houndstooth for our 1year old German shepherd Loki , they were extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Loki was in training for 5 weeks and the transformation is amazing. He doesn’t pull on leash or jump on people anymore. Thanks to Houndstooth Loki is still his goofy self but well trained and well behaved.

We sent our dog Future to the team at Houndstooth Training because we struggled with him in many different areas, such as pulling on the leash, barking aggressively at other dogs, recall, barking at the TV, etc. The list is a long one! After ten weeks at Houndstooth, he is not only doing excellent in all those areas, but he is now a Trained Service Dog! Here's a glimpse of him while traveling and now being able to run freely on the beach because his recall is fantastic! I couldn't recommend the HT team more. Both Future and our lives are so much better now. This was worth every penny, and Future, and we've already sent Future back for a boarding weekend with the team. The icing on the cake is that Future truly loves going there.

My husband and I brought our 1yr old Mini Aussie Cooper to Olivia and Emily for the 3 week board and train program. The best decision we ever could have made. Cooper is the same energetic happy dog from when we brought him there to him coming home..he is just now more obedient! He walks so well on a leash with us and listens to his place command at home. We continue to incorporate what Olivia & Emily have taught us to this day. Coopers down/stays are excellent as well! We would highly recommend Houndstooth Training to anyone.

We have a 9 month old English Cocker Spaniel named Bertie, who is, to say the least, energetic. Prior to going to Houndstooth, Bertie was difficult to walk, pulling on his leash, stopping every 30 seconds, etc. It felt as though he was in charge of us, not the other way around. Emilee and Olivia completely changed that dynamic, and now Bertie is a well behaved little gentleman, who always listens to us and is a pleasure to walk in the neighborhood. He is much calmer in our house and we are able to give him much more freedom, which has been beneficial both for us as owners and for him. We can’t say enough good things about Emilee and Olivia, and truly appreciate all their hard work. If Bertie ever gets a sibling, we won’t hesitate to send them to Houndstooth.
Our Frenchie Marcel just came home after an 8 week program with Houndstooth and the transformation is Incredible! All of his bad habits are gone and he takes direction and commands so well. I am excited for this new chapter for the whole family. Thank you for teaching Marcel and us a whole new way of communicating.
