We love Howliday Inn! Our dog is a large pit mix who we adopted as a stray. He has several, let’s say, strong personality traits. The trainers at Howliday have helped him become much more manageable. He’s still pretty rambunctious, but we have been taking him to daycare as well as to their trainers and he seems to be getting better all the time. They also have wonderful boarding facilities and he has stayed with them multiple times. He loves going and we don’t worry about how he is getting along while he is there. The staff there is very knowledgeable and helpful and they take the very best care of our boy while he’s there.

As promised I changed my review to five stars and will endorse as everyone else seems to do.
My experience is as a retired professional trainer of dogs. I trained over 50 customers back in 2018-2020 whom had sent their dogs to Howlidays. Each and everyone of them said that Howlidays used scare tactics to train their dogs, shock collars, choke collars, etc. Each and everyone of them had to have extensive training to teach there dogs not to fear.
When this was posted in 2019, I was threatened with lawsuits, slandering, legal implications on the company I represented. Free speech be damned, these people can't take criticism, even though they were the ones abusing dogs.
I have since read many positive reviews and have considered going there personally to watch their methods. If they have truly changed, I will personal advocate and change this to 5 stars.
If they react in the same unprofessional manner and threaten me. If they still use fear to train your dogs, I will proudly shut them down.
The ASPCA and other advocate dog organizations have already been put on notice and are ready to investigate.
Abusing and hurting dogs to scare them into submission is cruel, illegal, and wrong.
I hope these people reach out to me and have changed their ways.

They are currently working with my dog. They came out for a home visit to meet and get to know my dog. We discussed his challenges, and a plan was made to help. We have received some video updates that allow us to see his progress. The updates also help us with missing him. When training is complete, I will be shown how I can maintain the training for my dogs success.

I took my Chi here today for grooming and they did an excellent job! My girl was clean head to toe, ears, anal glands, brushed and her nails looked great and she smelled wonderful! Will definitely be back.
