Hudson K9 Training Center

I just wanted to pass along my sincerest gratitude to the entire Hudson K9 team. Our English Springer Spaniel that we have had since 8 weeks was full of anxiety and we could see it getting worse with age even though we completed puppy kindergarten and exposed her to many new things. She was especially fearful of new people and young kids and our fear was she would end up fear biting. The transformation we had with her from her 6 week obedience class is beyond words. She ended up having to do a 1:1 class due to her anxiety. Ramon, the owner, never sugar coated anything and challenged us to keep making sure we were working just as hard as she was. In our assessment she hysterically barked at Ramon as well as his dog as soon as they entered. We were still having major issues though with her corrections and he introduced an e-collar and this has been beyond transformative. With the training and this collar she is the dog we knew she could be. She walks without pulling, she is no longer leash reactive and the major milestone was having a stranger be able to groom her. The first attempt a grooming before we discovered Hudson K9, ended in me covered in more shampoo than our dog and scratches all over my body. The groomer actual said she was the worst client she had in 17 years of grooming. We have completed the 6 week basic obedience and she also goes to boot camp once a week and it has been transformative. She still has some work to do but I can honestly say, Hudson K9 changed our lives and has given our dog the confidence she needs to live her best life! I wish there were more than 5 stars to give. The entire staff is so knowledgeable, friendly and honest.
