I've worked with Marni and Laurie from HumaneK9 for about a year and a half. My dog and I have learned so much and have improved immeasurably. Annie is sweet, smart, and learns quickly when my handling mechanics are correct. We've done a lot of group classes in Canine Good Citizen, CGC Advanced and Urban, obedience, rally, therapy dog and fitness. We continue training to be more proficient and to keep practicing. I've also had a few one-on-one training sessions to improve my skills handling Annie and moving her into position correctly. I have more to learn! Marni and Laurie make the classes fun. We always feel like we had a good experience and learned something.

The trainers are clearly well experienced in positive training methods and go the extra mile to make sure you and your dog are relaxed, comfortable and happy in the training sessions. The information provided about the classes is clear and concise and filled with very detailed information to prepare you for your training journey. The emphasis is on creating a bonding experience with your dog and having fun while doing it. The energy is always upbeat and positive, this is a must because we all know, what you feel moves down the leash so with me feeling the great energy, my dogs feels it too and we always have so much fun together in class.

Marni has also helped my senior dog lose weight and build muscle through fitness training and proper nutrition. The results have been incredible, and I feel much more confident knowing I’m doing the right things for my dog’s health. Great programs, great trainers, and an overall fantastic experience.
