How long do I leave my dog with you?
They have classes that you can do for 8 weeks for 1 hour. Or you can opt to do their 3 week training retreat, where you drop the dog off for the full 3 weeks. You are allowed to come back once a week for 1 hour while they are there, so that you can be incorporated into the training.

We could not be happier with our experience with Hunter Canine and Senior Trainer Emily's training of our 7 month old border collie, Dash. After completing puppy training through another program, Dash was making progress but remained highly reactive to people and other dogs which was a challenge we were not equipped to overcome. We decided to trust Emily and the Hunter Canine team with their 4-week off leash training retreat, and the transformation was truly beyond for what we had hoped and desired. The dog we brought home exceeded every expectation we had.
What has impressed us the most is the commitment that does not end when the 4-week retreat does. The follow-up group training sessions have been invaluable by reinforcing both Dash's progress and the training techniques Emily taught us so we may continue her development at home. It is clear that Emily and the entire Hunter Canine team genuinely care about the long-term success of their clients — both the dogs and their owners.
If you are looking for professional, dedicated trainers who deliver real, lasting results, we wholeheartedly recommend Emily and Hunter Canine.

We are so impressed with Hunter Canine. The facility is always clean and well maintained. The trainers are very professional and friendly and I am always learning new things in class to help improve our dog Gracies manners and confidence. Violet, our dog Gracies trainer in our recent obedience class, has the the patience of a saint!

We had heard good things about Hunter Canine and enrolled our 4 month old Lab, Trouble, in a three week boarding/training program. They paired us with our trainer, Abbey, given her extensive experience with labs. We also signed up for Abbey to take Trouble home with her for in-home, overnight training. We had been working on simple obedience training at home since we brought Trouble home at 8 weeks but the progress she made with Abbey was remarkable. We attended the three follow-up group training sessions they offer at Hunter Canine and have continued to work with Trouble to maintain and solidify the training she received.Trouble absolutely loves Abbey when we have seen her at the group sessions and Abbey's love for Trouble is obvious. We are so appreciative of the high-touch, personal service Abbey offered with such great results. We highly recommend Hunter Canine to any dog owner looking for a helping hand in both training the dog and in teaching the owners how to keep it going at home.

Hunter Canine was recommended to us by a friend and we were beyond pleased with the entire experience from the introductory meeting, tour, in house training, classes and day/overnight care and their staff's true to commitment to the health, happiness of both canine and humans.
