Hunter Canine Dog Training

Taylor and the team have done absolute wonders for my pit mix. I had him almost 5 years before sending him to Hunter's Canine and truly didn't know what to expect. He's an older dog, I've had immense trouble training him on my own, especially when It came to reactivity with other dogs and being comfortable in the crate (specifically at night). Prior to sending Hank to Taylor, my boyfriend and I hadn't slept in the same bed for 2 years due to Hank and his separation/crate anxiety. Hank now enjoys his crate, gets in on command, and my boyfriend and I can now sleep and wake up in the same bed! We even went to the park this weekend passing multiple dogs, and as long as I stay on top of commands and the tricks that Taylor taught me, we have no issues! The biggest difference I noticed was his anxiety. Prior to sending him, he was on Trazadone almost daily, and still not settling, panting excessively, and just overall anxious. Now, panting is at a minimum (unless after a long walk), and no longer pants in his crate or when separated from me. He was even able to take a nap in the crate at work, in a separate room, with people coming in and out with barking, whining, or panting for 2 hours!!! Taylor truly saved me, and I cannot stop recommending Hunter's Canine enough!! Truly grateful.

We just adopted a 4 month old puppy with no crate or obedience training. She would bark and carry on the whole time when we put her in a crate. So we called Hunter Canine and scheduled a private session at our home for help in getting her to not fear or hate the crate. By the end of the session, Taylor, had her going in and out without the barking as before. We have Day Camp scheduled to start in June and we are looking forward to seeing the difference in having a dog that will listen and obey. Thank you, Taylor, it was a great experience.

Our dog Boston did a 4 week board and train program with Taylor and I can’t say enough good things about our experience! She was very communicative and responsive, she explained things very well and always gave us so much of her time during our midway and go home lessons. Our boy was explosively dog reactive and had severe stranger danger reactivity and the improvement we have seen with him since coming home has been tremendous. We can finally take him on walks and hikes more confidently, he listens much better, and is still our silly goofy guy. I would absolutely train with Taylor again!

l sent my almost 1.5-year-old black Lab, Ember, for a 4-week board and train program with Chloe at Hunter Dog Training and the results have been incredible. She came home as the same sweet dog, but with exponentially better listening skills and a solid foundation of basics that she can now share with her older housemate! Throughout the four weeks, Chloe sent regular updates with photos and videos, clearly explaining the training methods, her expectations for Ember, and her daily progress. I would not hesitate to recommend Hunter Dog Training—and especially Chloe B.—for anyone looking for either basic or advanced obedience training.

My expertise with Hunter Canine Dog Training couldn’t have been better. This was definitely worth everything and more. I sent my dog who had very bad reactivity towards other dogs to there 4 week board and train. He worked with Taylor and she turned him around better than ever. Taylor couldn’t have been better with keeping me updated with him and progressing with him and his training. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the way he came back. Would 100 precent go them again.
