Hunter Canine Dog Training

We are so grateful for Hunter Canine Dog Training. Our little guy Sheldon a pit/terrier was quite the rascal until Taylor (who was Sheldon’s direct handler) stepped in. So thrilled with her working the rough spots out of Sheldon’s shortcomings. She returned back to us a version of Sheldon who is no longer anxious, walks with me, knows his commands, and wow sleeps in his kennel at night without whining. You guys are amazing. Thanks so much!

The Hunter Canine team have been nothing short of amazing! I’m almost finished my day camp sessions and I have seen HUGE progress on my dog’s reactivity. Lila, Willa, and Finn have all created such a good relationship with my dog and that in itself speaks huge volumes since my dog can be stranger danger. I will continue to recommend Hunter Canine to everyone in the area that will listen. Just alone for having a payment plan that works for me has made this whole process way less stressful. Continue the great work guys, you are quite literally saving lives out here.🙌🏼

Im very very thankful to the entire staff at Hunter Canine. I had spoken to Hunter, and Willa about getting help with my dog Benito in the beginning of all this. I needed major help and guidance with extreme excitement reactivity. Benito was at a point of being uncontrollable in public, in the car, at the park, etc. He gets very very excited to be around other dogs and got to a point where he didn’t know to regulate his emotions. With that being said, I really did not know what to expect. Hunter and Willa were welcoming and recommended me the day camp package. Lila was the one that really worked a lot with Benito while he was there. Lila really has done a great job too explaining to me how the day went and what to do at home and how to handle certain situations very thoroughly. By day 10 out of 20 I have noticed a change in Benito in his behavior and things started to stick to him!! It was soooo awesome and relieving to see that everything he’s been doing at day camp has truly been working. I’ve never felt judged by any of the staff with Benito’s behavior and they all have a been a true pleasure to work with. (: Lila, truly thank you so much. This experience has changed our life with Benito for the better. Id like to make it known that it did NOT go unnoticed Lila’s dedication to her job. It was very impressing seeing her effort and how committed she was for Benito and his training. Shout out to Finn as well for recommending me places to go with Benito and also being so kind and helpful through out this process. Happy and hopeful to continue this training with Benito through out his life.

Rylie just completed a 20-day Day Camp with Hunter Canine Dog Training, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. She came in with a good foundation of obedience and room to grow, but thanks to her trainer, Lila, she left with a noticeably higher level of consistency and skill—far beyond what I could have achieved on my own. Going into the program, I had specific goals I wanted Rylie to work on, and Lila took the time to truly listen and understand them. After each session, she consistently went above and beyond by walking me through what they worked on, what Rylie did well, where she struggled, and what I could reinforce at home. From day one, it was clear that Lila and the entire team genuinely care about the dogs they work with and have the knowledge and experience to set them up for success. I highly recommend Hunter Canine and Lila to anyone—whether you have a puppy just starting out or an adult dog you’d like to take to the next level.
